Knowles Corporation is a market leader and global provider of advanced micro-acoustic, audio processing, and precision device solutions, serving the mobile consumer electronics, communications, medical, defense, automotive, and industrial markets.

Knowles Corporation focuses on the manufacture and sales of micro-acoustic, specialty components, and human interface solutions and offers products such as hearing aid components, micro-electro-mechanical systems, microphones and transducers, among others.

Founded in 1946 with its headquarters in the United States, the organization is currently headed by Jeffrey Niew who hass been CEO since 2013. He was previously employed as a Vice President by Dover Corp., a President & Chief Executive Officer by Dover Communication Technologies, Inc., a President & Chief Executive Officer by Knowles Electronics LLC, a Vice President & General Manager by Knowles Acoustics, and a Manager-Business Development by Littelfuse, Inc. He also served on the board at Qualtré, Inc, hence his high level of expertise in management. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.

The company is focused on investing in high value solutions to diversify its revenue and increase exposure to high-growth markets.
