Geek Of The Week: Laura Tyler Perryman, CEO Of Stimwave

Stimwave Technologies is a known private medical device technological provider which was founded in 2010. The company is involved in the manufacture, development commercialization and marketing of wireless microsize injectable medical devices for injectable market. Through the provision of these services, Stimwave seeks to make people’s life more bearable as it provides a means to reduces costs in management of conditions when compared to expensive surgical alternatives.

Headed by Laura Tyler Perryman who serves as the Chief Executive Officer, the company currently boasts of about 20- 50 employees. She is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where she had a degree in in Aeronautical Engineering. She then went ahead to The George Graziadio School and Business and Management where she had an MBA degree, she also got an MS degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the California State University.

Prior to becoming the CEO of Stimwave, Laura has served in other leadership positions which has adequately prepared her for this present leadership position. Some of these positions are; Managing Director of Neural Diabetes foundation, President and COO of DCT Inc., and also the Chief Technology Officer and the Strategist Officer of One World networks.

Under her leadership, theree has been a lot of focus on achieving Stimwave’s goal to evolve its patented, cutting-edge platform into the default for neuromodulation, results of this has beeen greatly achieved through increasing the accessibility for patients worldwide while lowering the economic impact of pain management.
