LabTech Software Partners With New Agent

Yesterday it was announced that LabTech Software will be teaming up with Netherlands based BackupAgent to form a distribution partnership. The team at LabTech are excited by the move and its CEO, Matt Nachtrab, is quoted as saying  “Our goal is to provide our partners with the tools they need to build and grow their businesses by leveraging the power of automation… LabTech’s integration with BackupAgent will yield operational efficiencies that are key to running a profitable IT services business. LabTech is delighted to be a distributor of BackupAgent.”

LabTech Software proudly describe themselves as the only developer of a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform that is both developed for, and by managed service providers (MSP). In addition to this, they develop and support different services including cloud backup and storage, and antivirus and application management.

The BackupAgent team are equally excited by the partnership. Robbert van Geldrop, CTO of BackupAgent  said, “We are incredibly excited with the launch of the integration module. We are always eager to keep up to date with the latest management environments for our MSP partners…We have had a tremendous amount of requests for a LabTech integration module and are delighted we can now satisfy these requests.”

 Roland Sars, CCO at BackupAgent went on to say, “We are very pleased with the LabTech integration and the distribution agreement…We are confident that LabTech Software will provide a great distribution channel and increased market penetration.”
