Aspect Software just revealed the support of Microsoft Azure for its flagship Aspect Via Platform. This platform is a cloud solution for Contact Center Workforce Management. The evolution of the Aspect Via Platform, was first delivered as a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) in Amazon Web Services, and has been designed in a bid to provide new deployment options for Aspect customers who need an option in Cloud Services.
Michael Harris, Chief Marketing Officer of Aspect spoke on how their customers stand as a representation of the largest companies in the world, which includes the leading financial services, retailers, transportation, and healthcare providers. These companies possess special requirements for deployment and migration, with their drive being security, regulatory, privacy, as well as other internal factors. Michael said that a cookie-cutter method does not just work for these companies. Rather, they need choice for cloud service delivery, so they’re doing just that. They call it Cloud-Neutral.
The Aspect Via Platform supplies a set of common cloud service capabilities which includes user identity management, monitoring, provisioning, connectivity, database, user interface and a rich API, which form the nucleus of functionality for customers to choose from one or several CCaaS applications. These applications are supplied in two suites: Contact Center Apps and Workforce Optimization Apps, that can be selected as well as deployed in a public, hosted or private cloud.
Microsoft and Aspect have a common goal of strengthening enterprises to form the right cloud environment which meets up with their current and future business needs. Aspect Via for Microsoft Azure joins the enterprise leadership of Azure with the power of Aspect World Class Workforce Management software to enhance the customer experience and assist customers on their cloud journey.
