Citrix is set to Launch Workspace for Google Cloud

Citrix Systems, Inc. today revealed their plans to stretch the Citrix Workspace to Google Cloud, in a bid to expand the flexibility as well as the choice companies have in transitioning to the cloud, by allowing them to rapidly and effectively deliver apps to Google devices and operating systems and also make a superior digital work experience that shows forth innovation and productivity. This was a news arrived in the course of Citrix Synergy, the premier digital work conference happening in Atlanta this week.

David Henshall, President and CEO, Citrix spoke on how companies are moving more apps to the cloud and need an easy and secure way to help employees to access them anywhere, anytime and from any device. He attested to the fact that as they provide their service, Citrix Workspace for Google Cloud, they are powering our customers to speed up their digital transformations and provide a simple, intuitive experience for their users.

Rob Enslin, President Global Customer Operations, Google Cloud talked about how many of their customers have existing software and infrastructure investments, yet still want the freedom to invest in their cloud future. He talked of their hope as they expand their partnership with Citrix, that they hoped to better help their customers with their transformations, by allowing them to access and run the apps their businesses depend on anywhere, in the most flexible, simple and secure way.

This relationship is obviously a Productivity Powerhouse, as extending Citrix Workspace beyond Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops for companies using Google Cloud will make them able to make their apps modern and also provide joint access across Google devices and operating systems, to create a productivity powerhouse for employees as well as IT administrators.
