DataStax has just announced that its new DataStax Enterprise suite will now be available for organizations to utilize from within the Microsoft Azure platform. The new strategic partnership with Microsoft will allow DataStax to help organizations deliver IoT data to web and mobile applications using private, hybrid or public deployments. The news of the partnership with Microsoft came at the Cassandra Summit 2015, where DataStax unveiled its new Microsoft Azure integration. DataStax Enterprise on Azure allows organizations to bring their own licenses, in order to rapidly provision production apps.
This is achieved using the Azure Resource Management templates, which allows organizations to deploy the DataStax infrastructure in seconds. Administrators can take advantage of DataStax Enterprise by provisioning workloads using the Azure Resource Management console.
