Eight Upland Software Key Product Lines Gain Listings on U.K. Government’s G-Cloud Framework

Upland Software, Inc., a renown leader in cloud-based enterprise work management software, announced today that the company has been awarded G-Cloud listings for about eight of its product lines by the government of the United Kingdom.

The G-Cloud framework serves as the U.K. government’s digital marketplace created to enhance a more straightforward and easy path to procurement of cloud-based  services and software, which is entirely changing the way the public sector can notice and deal with newer suppliers. Products which are listed in the G-Cloud digital marketplace have been validated. This helps in risk reduction and also streamlines the procurement process for buyers as well as vendors. It also allows public sector customers to buy services yet not have to run a full tender or competition procurement process.

Dominic Aelberry, vice president of EMEA at Upland Software talked of their delight at having eight of the award-winning Upland Software products listed on G-Cloud 11, with several of them having been on the framework for several years running. G-Cloud exposes more of Upland’s applications to the U.K. public sector, which helps in scaling up cloud adoption. He alsk said that organisations can now access products from all seven of Upland’s solution suites to assist in gaining the advantages of multiple best-of-breed products in the absence of the pain of dealing with several suppliers.

In recent years, the U.K. government has been effecting a strong push to embrace cloud computing for the public sector. The “Cloud First” approach to IT has the purchase of government IT services via the cloud as a prerequisite, except there’s an alternative which is proven to be of lower cost. Upland Software prides in helping to accelerate the adoption of cloud solutions.
