Jive Communications, a cloud based telephony provider, has just announced a deal to acquire the operating assets of Easy Office Phone. Jive’s intention in buying Easy Office Phone was to expand their North American operations into Canada. The Ontario based VoiP provider will keep its office in Burlington and rename itself: Jive Canada.
No dollar figures have been announced with respect to the deal. Customers of Jive Communications will be segmented when they call in for support. Users will be routed to the correct support group upon their initial inbound call.
“We’re excited to welcome the Easy Office Phone team to Jive,” mentions John Pope, CEO of Jive Communications.
“They bring a substantial customer base that is accustomed to exceptional service and world-class voice quality. We intend to build on those expectations as we continue our expansion with Jive Canada,” adds Pope.
Jive says that Easy Office Phone has over 200 partners in Canada. Jive believes that its service initiatives can help Jive Canada reach a spectrum of verticals such as education, government and non-profit industries.
Jive Communications is rapidly expanding due to their state of the art Jive Cloud offering. With Jive Cloud, businesses can utilize enterprise grade cloud hosted VoIP from anywhere around the globe. With Jive’s expansion into Canada, Jive Communications looks to boost the profile of its innovative VoIP offering by scaling out services into different markets.
Adam Simpson, CEO of Easy Office Pro says, “Our customers across North America can still expect the same superior service, rely on the same responsive support team, and use the same user-friendly portal as before. They’ll also have the added resources Jive brings to the table.”
