Keysight Technologies Appoints New Board Member
Keysight Technologies, Inc., a great technology company that assists service providers, enterprises as well as governments in the acceleration of innovation to link and secure the world, revealed that on May 23, 2019, the Board of Directors appointed Joanne B. Olsen as a director, effective immediately.
The President and CEO of Keysight, Ron Nersesian expressed how they delighted to welcome Joanne to Keysight’s Board. He testified to the fact that Joanne has a proven track record of execution in the technology industry and how much she shares their commitment to operational best practices and delivering greater value to their customers, shareholders, and employees. He also talked on the fact that they looked forward to integrating her perspective and her contributions into the successful execution of their strategic plan.
Ms. Olsen had served as Executive Vice President of Global Cloud Services and Support of Oracle Corporation, not too long ago and until her retirement in 2017. While she served in that role, she drove Oracle’s cloud transformation services and support strategy, she did this by partnering with leaders across all business units. Joanne had also previously served as Senior Vice President and leader of Oracle’s applications sales, alliances and consulting organizations in North America. Ms. Olsen started up her career with IBM, where she worked in a variety of executive management positions (cutting across sales, global financing and hardware) over the course of more than three decades.
Ms. Olsen has a solid background in Mathematics and Economics, receiving a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from East Stroudsburg University. Currently, she works as a director on the public boards of Ciena Corporation and Teradata Corporation.
