Legal Tech Veteran, Alex Su, Joins Evisort

Evisort, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology company, today revealed the appointment of legal tech veteran, Alexander Su (Alex), as its Director of Business Development. Previously, Su led the sales team at Logikcull, an eDiscovery automation company which grew revenue from 0 to $10M in merely 19 months. Su’s move is the latest in a recent trend of leadership talent being attracted to Evisort as a result of its massive growth this year.

All through the past decade, Su has been specially positioned to notice how legal technology is evolving. In the earlier stages of his career, Su worked ob several discovery workflows, as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell. Right after becoming a part of Logikcull as one of its first sales hires, Su saw cloud-based automation streamlined processes and transformed how cases were being litigated.

Similar to the way automation disrupted litigation in the past, at the moment, AI technology is changing the way contracts are being managed. Venture capital firms have caught on to this wider trend: According to Forbes, within 2017 and 2018, investment in legal technology companies rose by 713%.

Being the Director of Business Development (a position that was specially created for him), Su will work as an evangelist for Evisort, and direct  industry conversations concerning ways in which AI has the ability to power legal teams.

Before the time when his tenure at legal technology law firms and companies, Su worked as a law clerk for the Hon. Edmond E. Change of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and collected his J.D. from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a school in which he was an editor of the Law Review.
