
The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (MWPC) event gives cloud innovators a platform to present, demonstrate and comingle with some of the biggest names in technology. Earlier this week, Cloudwedge published a story highlighting Rackspace’s plans to begin providing fanatical to support Azure customers, which was announced at the MWPC. We’ve compiled a few other announcements that we felt brought out the best in cloud:
Zentera
Zentera showcased it’s CoNET platform at MWPC. The cloud over IP provider demonstrated its hybrid cloud product that connects enterprise data centers to public and private cloud. Other features include the ability to:
- Build partner-to-partner networks
- Enable remote access networks
- Enact rapid datacenter network migration
- Setup virtual IP-based routing
- Integrate 3rd party advanced threat detection,
- Encrypt data
- Allow whitelisting
- Setup cloud firewalls
Tech Data
Tech Data is one of the most admired companies in the world. With the introduction of the new TDCloud at MWPC, Tech Data looks to set itself apart by offering channel partners new opportunities for revenue through its product.
Tech Data has added a plethora of features to its new TDCloud. Among those features, TDCloud now includes:
- The StreamOne billing system goes private label
- BitTran releases globally – available in the TDCloud Solutions Store
- Microsoft Office 365 Gets Added Support
- Insightly CRM is added as a Service that is Integrated
- A new deal with CloudGenera
