SAIC Attains Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform, Application Development, and Datacenter Competencies
Science Applications International Corp. revealed today that it has attained Microsoft Gold competencies for Cloud Platform, Application Development, and Datacenters, showcasing a “best-in-class” capacity as well as commitment to cater to the evolving needs of customers in today’s mobile-first, cloud-first world, and distinguishing itself within Microsoft’s partner ecosystem.
Coby Holloway, SAIC vice president for IT Modernization could not hide their pride and excitement concerning the achievement of these three new Gold competencies with Microsoft; a milestone that further validates their capabilities to strengthen customers on their IT modernization journey.
These achievements recognize their expertise in taking advantage of the latest Microsoft technologies for successful customer outcomes and the stretching of their abilities as a Microsoft Gold Partner.
SAIC provides cloud and IT modernization solutions to national security, federal civilian agency, defense, state/local, and the regular commercial customer as well. Their three new Gold competencies confirm their experience in the provision of modern IT infrastructures and cloud services.
To be in possession of a Microsoft Gold competency, partners must successfully finish up exams (to make them Microsoft Certified Professionals) in a bid to prove their level of technological expertise, and then assign these certified professionals specially to one Microsoft competency, allowing for a certain level of staffing capacity. They must also submit customer references that showcase successful projects, reach for a performance (revenue and or consumption/usage) commitment (for most Gold competencies), and pass technology and/or sales assessments.
By the virtue of their backing and deployment of Microsoft technologies, SAIC has successfully allowed for customer adoption of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 and have showcased professionalism in cloud migration, DevSecOps, advanced collaboration solutions, and advanced data analytics.
