Trinity College Upgrades Old Software from Briar Security

Trinity College is now changing out their old security CCTV solutions for Cambridge Science Park with newer solutions that have been delivered to them by Briar Security of Great Eversden, Cambridgeshire.

The managing director of Briar Security explained that the original CCTV system at the park was old and estimated that some of the components were over 15 years old. This made their performance poor and toward the end of their potential operating life.

Due to the old technology being used, those who were monitoring Cambridge Science Park were at a huge disadvantage. They were working with limited operational visibility due to some of the CCTVs not working.

Since the installation of the original system, Cambridge Science Park has grown in size which has extended beyond the original surveillance system. There are also other parts of the park that have been redeveloped or will be redeveloped in the future, that the surveillance system does not fully cover.

Now that Briar Security has taken over the project, they have not only replaced all of the CCTV monitors and cameras, they have also made sure that all aspects of Cambridge Science Park are covered with state-of-the-art surveillance technology.

Briar Security was established in 1983 and over the last 30 years, they have worked on becoming the premier security company in the Cambridgeshire area as well as the surrounding areas.

Briar Security has kept up to date with the newest technological advances in the security field and has trained a highly skilled team that provides solutions that are considered to be the top of the industry.

The company offers a wide range of services. They specialize in CCTV, intruder alarm systems, access control panels, and fire alarms.

The updates to the Cambridge Science Park by Trinity College is sure to ensure that the area remains safe and up to date with the highest of security to allow those to enjoy it safely for many more years to come.
