This new contract with the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for the Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery (Global EGD) program is set to begin on the 1st of September 2019 and should last through till August 2023 with its base year value at $44 million.
The global EGD program is one that has been on since 2011, providing soldiers, first responders, intelligence analysts and civil government users with easy access to Maxar’s 100-petabyte historical imagery library and daily imagery collections for time sensitive, mission-critical planning and operations.
The program has consistently proven itself over the years to be one that is extremely essential for use by Non-Governmental Agencies as well as government agencies.
