Ease of Use
Setup is pretty straightforward and the process only takes a few minutes. If for any reason you are unfamiliar with the standard installation process, Egynte provides a step by step video to walk you through the process. Egnyte offers three pricing packages: Office, Business and Enterprise.
The Office package is designed as a basic online file storage and sharing solution for SMB’s. It costs $8 per employee per month for 5-24 users and includes 1TB storage, and a 2.5GB max file size.
The Business package is designed as a more flexible storage and sharing package for mid-size businesses. It costs $15 per employee for 25-100 users, and includes 2TB storage, a 5GB max file size, outlook integration, and custom branding.
The Enterprise package is designed as a scalable file sharing infrastructure with complete and centralized admin, auditing and storage integrations. Pricing is available upon request and supports unlimited users. It includes 3TB+ storage, 10GB max file size, premium support, storage sync, audit reports, salesforce.com integration, and AD and LDAP support.
Security
Egnyte provides good security on all data stored on their datacenters. All data is stored on Egnyte’s RAID6 servers. Encyption is end-to-end using AES 256-bit encryption. All datacenters are manned 24/7 and have biometric access control, as well as video surveillance.
Customer Support
Egnyte offers three support packages from standard to platinum, all with 24/7 support. The standard package includes: online case submission, product docs including access to the knowledgebase and forum, weekly training seminars, and admin and quick-start user guides. The premium package includes everything from the standard package, plus telephone case submission. The platinum package includes the above and also priority responses for online and telephone case submissions, 8 hours dedicated deployment services, training and implementation, dedicated success manager and early notifications of product releases.
